The new SMF03 model has been meticulously crafted to be the ultimate baking machine. The most striking design evolution of the SMF03 is that both the head and base now match to create a full-colour aesthetic. This block cast look is initially available in red, white, and black colourways making Smeg’s model a statement in any kitchen. |

The company’s rich heritage is marked on the bottom of the stainless-steel bowl with a ‘Designed in Italy’ imprint. The 7mm bowl is perfect for making large batches of evenly mixed dough as it has a capacity of 12 cups. The iconic Italian company has also redesigned and improved the range of accessories to accompany the Stand Mixer. The flat beater and dough hook have both been treated to a new coating which now makes both attachments dishwasher safe and with a non-stick surface. The whisk has also been upgraded to include a fifth, previously four, welded steel wired plus an extra 2mm in height to ensure every piece of mixture is caught by the Smeg appliance. This complements the already versatile range of Stand Mixer attachments including: multi food grinder, vegetable shredder and slicer, ravioli maker, pasta-roller and cutter set, wire whisk, flat beater and dough hook. There is even a recipe booklet included to help inspire you to get creative in the kitchen. The base of the appliance is crafted from die-cast aluminium, which provides additional weight to maximise stability and versatility when mixing robust dough. Furthermore, Smeg has introduced the option of a glass bowl accessory, available with the SMF13, which gives the added benefit of being able to see what your mixer is up to. The Stand Mixer is also armed with a safety lock when the mixing head is tilted up, a 10-speed variable control, centrally positioned lever and opening button, planetary action, overload motor protection and anti-slip feet. Beautifully crafted with a uniquely styled, die-cast aluminium body and a 4.8-litre capacity high polished stainless-steel bowl, the mixer features an 800W direct drive motor with full metal gears, ensuring maximum mixing performance, even with the toughest of doughs, time after time. Smeg’s new SMF03 Stand Mixer cements the company’s ethos of ‘technology with style’. Not only have the construction and accessories of the appliance been advanced, but the new full-colour Smeg’s new SMF03 is new to the market in the past twelve months; its embargo lifted on 1st November 2018. |
